The Sweet Stuff

Simple Syrup:

2 part sugar, 1 part boiling water water.

Stir.

Contain in a bottle when cool.


White/Brown Sugar:

Finer sugar dissolves more easily, try dry blending granulated sugar.

Brown sugar adds a distinctive taste.


Other Sweeteners:

Honey, Algarve syrup, Maple Syrup, Jam, Marmalade. Anything sufficiently sweet.

Fruit purees can also be used to sweeten and flavour drinks.
